Where the Spirit of the Lord is…
“Together, we are his house,
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.
And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.
We are carefully joined together in him,
becoming a holy temple for the Lord.”
– Ephesians 2:19-20 NLT
Except for the Envelope, this spread is all doodles and text. I just love to get in the flow of doodling and writing words that are meaningful to me, embellishing with pattern. Feeling blessed as I ponder the meaning of what it means to have a God who loves me and grateful I belong in His family.
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves,
you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness,
humility, gentleness, and patience…
forgive others…clothe yourselves with love,
which binds us all together in perfect harmony….
let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts…
and always be thankful”
– Colossians 3:12, 13, NLT
“…Lead a life worthy of your calling,
for you have been called by God.
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other,
making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit,
binding yourselves together with peace.
For there is one body and one Spirit,
just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father,
who is over all and in all and living through all.
However, he has given each one of us a special gift
through the generosity of Christ.”
~ Ephesians 4:1-7 NLT
