The Healing Story Behind the Art: Forgiveness and Letting Go

We each have a story to tell, and our stories relate to one another. We all need forgiveness and to forgive. In the

Colorful Blessings

coloring book, the pages give a glimpse into my story expressed through line. They are waiting to be colored, to connect with your story.

"Forgive, Accept, Let Go" was a spontaneous journal page. At that time, I was heart-broken. I didn't know how to get over the hurt from someone I loved. After many tears, I needed to forgive and move on. It was so hard. The process of forgiveness seemed a road so hard to travel. I cannot forgive on my own. I need God's help. Forgiveness is also a gift, given when I am willing to let go of the offense. Here is the original post with the journey of forgiveness.http://visualblessings.blogspot.com/2013/07/processing-hurt-in-my-moleskine-journal.html

"Forgiving is For Giving me Freedom" is a coloring page that combined two journal pages. One is from a family journal and the other one here shows a similar flying figure that inspired the idea of flying out of a cage.http://visualblessings.blogspot.com/2015/11/the-freedom-of-forgiving-plus-coloring.html

"Healing Peace" came from praying for my close friend who was in the hospital with cancer. I drew, colored, prayed... She asked me to come visit, but I couldn't come because I had a bad cold. I was so sad.http://visualblessings.blogspot.com/2015/04/an-artful-life-art-and-life-together.html
