Growth & Change - It's a Good Thing

It’s been nearly nine years since I began blogging and six years since teaching my first online course. So much has happened since then. First I want to thank you for participating with me on the journey. If you are reading this, you either took the time to open an email or visit my blog, and I appreciate that. I hope to continue to offer inspirational content and hear from you too. It's time for new ideas and new teaching and learning.

In fact, if you would respond to a few questions I would love to know what you think and what inspires you. You can respond to this in the comment section of my blog or if you are receiving the blog updates you can respond to the email.

  • What would you like me to feature on my blog?

  • What would you like to learn from me in an online course?

  • What in-person workshop would you enjoy taking?

  • In general, what inspires your creativity?

  • Are there any other thoughts you would like to share?

During the past nine years I’ve loved connecting with like-hearted people. I've learned a lot, made mistakes, had fun, and met people I wouldn’t have had I not joined this creative online community. You are awesome! Looking back and looking forward,  am grateful and see it is time to make some improvements.

New Teaching Platform

There are changes happening now with my online courses. You may already know the current art journaling courses are retiring and are now on sale and downloadable. The Bible journaling e-course is still available on my website but will be migrating soon to the new teaching platform. If you are in that course you will be receiving some emails to help make the transition smooth.

I am excited about this move because it will greatly streamline the experience for you who take my courses and ease my tech issues. I have taken some e-courses on Teachable and it is extremely user-friendly with more payment options.

New Courses

The other reason I am moving my online teaching is that I want to offer more courses you love. In fact I am excitedly working on new courses and wondering what you would like to learn. Right now one is just about ready to fly. Here is a strong visual hint. More details to come soon.

New Art
Patina & Pattern Paintings

In addition to the creative adventures in my virtual studio, there has also been quite a lot of creativity going on in my painting teaching studio here in Hillsboro Oregon. I have been making a lot of art focusing on Pattern & Patina as you see here below. There are even cards being made at the printer right now. They will be ready for the upcoming Washington County Artists Studios Tour open the third weekend of October 11 am-5 pm. I am honored to be a part of it again this year. It is great fun to meet and talk with people in the creative atmosphere. If you are local I'd love to meet you in my studio!
