The 100 Day Project - Days 9-16
What I've learned so far from the 100 day project …
Format/design matters and impacts the process. Because I have four days on a two-page spread, I've begun to paint the four squares on one day, and then doodle and write on the rest of the three days. It's interesting because I thought if I drew on a different day it wouldn't mean as much, or I wouldn't know what to write on another day, but that hasn't been the case. I'm rather enjoying the four in one spread out over days process.
It started when I went to the beach with my friend for a couple of days. The next two days I could spend my time appreciating the time spent as I doodled and wrote, and then integrated my current day into what I remembered about the beach.
Place matters too. So far all of mine have been abstract, from my inner landscape, but here my vision and art was turned towards the beauty outside in nature. I love it!
