Washi Tape Adventure #2 - Super Simple Ideas

Here's a quick super simple post with super simple Washi Tape ideas. I'm taking a simple square and triangle shape aka a primitive house shape, and having fun making special gift tags with my Washi Tape.

I stenciled the star shapes with the Mid-Century Modern stencil and then put a border of Washi tape with a similar pattern. I bought the Washi tape at Michaels.

It's really easy to cut a pattern from a roll of Washi tape and stick it down on a journal page for added pattern, or to fix a little tear like I did with one of the circle dots. Stencils and Washi tape play well together, like the flower cut from tape in similar colors as the stencil colored with Gelatos and/or colored pencils.

My friend Elizabeth makes everything special, even an envelope. She sent me a card and a necklace for stacked stones made by her dear friend Jennie Osborn. The message and thoughtfulness blessed me so much I wanted to remember it, so I taped it down in my journal with Washi tape. Jenny had just lead  a group on God with us helping us and the story of the Israelites making an Ebenezer (God has helped us) with stacks of stones. Jenny's Etsy shop is: https://www.etsy.com/dk-en/shop/NJoyful. Both Elizabeth and I thought it was a serendipity that I had just had the Stones & Pebbles stencil released.
