Learning to Rest...
In the last post, I began a journal with the theme of rest, inspired by Mary Brack's "All in All Signature Journal Class."
Theme verse:

Working on the R - Release part of the REST acronym
It feels like preparation for entering into a sabbath time.. with Release being the right place to start:
Release is to be free from confinement, bondage, obligation, pain, etc. To let go, to allow to be known; To free from debt, to give up, relinquish, liberate, surrender a right, to remove restriction; deliverance.
Entering into a period of rest is something I feel I must do in order to move forward.2018 has been a year of "family." It's been over 20 years since I have been a part of my family of origin. I'd go as far to say there have been some relational miracles, and I am filled with joy as we reap the benefit of the blessings of being family again. But there are other things that are really hard. As one of my wise dear Friends Katie says, "Renegotiating relationships is hard and fraught with peril." We need healing... It takes time, emotional energy, the will to stay engaged, and an absolute dependence on God, trusting it will turn out ok.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_custom_heading text="Check it out!"
