Re-fresh & Re-produce this July!
Inspiration to keep going...
This month I've had some time and focus constraints, so I was motivated to explore a more efficient process of setting up my monthly journal pages, and - IT WORKED!
In painting the cover image, I go through the same process done previously, but in the other two videos you will notice the set-up is a bit different. Instead of doing each page from start to finish separately, I've done all the pencil set-up, then moved on to the pen work, then, when that was done, I got out my watercolors and painted. I went back to touch up with pen, and added the final gold stenciling at the end. The process went much faster and was just as much fun. I hope you enjoy it! Cheers!
What’s included in the videos
Here is a list of the pages I've included in my set-up for each month on this blog.
Monthly cover title page
Monthly calendar (2-page spread)
Gratitude 2-page spread with monthly themed watercolor doodles
Workflow pages for my 'work' (4 single pages/ 2 2-page spreads)
July weekly/daily calendar pages
FREE Plan with me video tutorials on this blog each month!
The first video below show how I paint the cover image for this month in watercolor. In the second video, I set up the above pages in my journal using pen. The third video adds color and finishing touches.
The following journal set-up video includes setting up planner journal pages in pen.
The following journal set-up video includes adding watercolor and finishing the journal set-up.
Psalm 126 TPT
It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and
brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness.
We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise.
All the nations saw it and joined in, saying,
“The Lord has done great miracles for them!”
Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!
Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory!
May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again.
Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee.
They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow,
but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness
as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!
Here are some questions to consider:
What refreshes your soul?
What 'seed/s' do you want to plant?
Where do you want to plant your 'seed/s'?
How can you nurture your 'seed/s'?
When will you harvest?
